Warning: I am VERY BIASED about this one!!!! There is absolutely no objectivity possible for me on this post. You disagree with me at your peril.
Cee Lo Green and the Muppets did a Christmas music video for “All I Need is Love”, which is all clever and musically complex and blah blah blah.
But in The Muppets Christmas Carol, “Bless Us All” is the bestest warmest loveliest Christmas family song of all time, so really there is no contest.
What’s your choice between the two? Or, alternative acceptable consideration, do you prefer a different Muppets Christmas Carol song? I will accept anything except the drippy “When Love Has Gone” that I always fastforward.
Well I really like the Do do do Muppet song that they worked into All I Need is Love, but it didn’t really work musically. I also liked the All I Need is Love credits. So yes the Christmas Carol song wins, and now I have something I can force my children to watch with me, The Muppet Christmas Carol. I’m not sure my kids have EVER seen a Christmas Carol. Shame!

The Muppet Christmas Carol is GREAT! And surprisingly faithful to the book, so they will be learning too.

I do like it! It’s a good version of the story and the costumes are really good.

They are! And Michael Cain does a shockingly good job acting opposite puppets.
