What joy for us all! Filmikudhi and Maria both sent me dog photos. Because what is Christmas, if not taking cute photos of confused doggies?
First, so we can all be jealous, LOOK AT THEO’S ORNAMENT!!!! It’s just so BEAUTIFUL.
And then Theo himself, looking very festive, despite being cruelly restricted from playing with/eating the tree.
Maria’s Teddi got a fancy new sweater for Christmas but, even with the new warmth, seems a bit doubtful about going out into the freezing snow.
And then of course there’s Albie Dog. Who spent Christmas under a blanket piled with gifts. Not for him, it was just a handy place to pile them while we opened.

Sorry about today’s Coolie. I watched it all and enjoyed it, but I need more watch along practice. Sometimes, I saw everybody’s posts and not mine, sometimes just the opposite. I started on the page where everybody said “Here”, posted something about the coolies’ uniforms, got an answer from you on a WordPress page, then everything went haywire. Eventually, I gave up so I could concentrate on the film.
Over the top! Lever looked a little strange, like his face was not his face, and Varun, who’s a stirling actor, can do subtle comedy but not so much the broad Lou Costello kind. He seemed to be trying too hard to imitate Govinda whom I wasn’t crazy about in the original. But I liked how Karisma played the role better than Sarah, altho Sarah’s getting her acting chops and was a good dance match for Varun, the expert on his feet. On the whole, it was a fun 2+ hours and a perfect choice.

Definitely a fun 2+ hours! And there’s nothing wrong with that, sometimes you just need fun.

Rachel – First, I know it’s belated but Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah! We need to see pics of your dog! He must be right around Theo’s age. I think I remember us getting the dog at around the same time!
