Saturday WatchAlong! CHENNAI EXPRESS! JOY!!!! Starting at 7:30am Chicago Time

Happy Happy Saturday! And SRK day!!! What a wonderful start to the day/weekend, spending the morning with SRK.

I swear I won’t oversleep this week! So at 7:30am Chicago time, I will put up an “And PLAY!” comment and we will go from there. Super fun!

Reminder, Chennai Express is off Netflix and Prime right now, so you will have to dig out a DVD or else rent it on youtube (link below).

  1. And ALL HER LIES ARE TRUE!!! Huh??? Huh??? Get it??? They really did run away together from her wedding, and he really will never leave her, and also he is a sweet seller.

  2. If I were her, now that we finally got to a safe place, I would be so eager to take off all that heavy jewelry and stuff. But that’s probably why I’m not a heroine.

  3. This is one of those “SRK makes his face shift and feels like a different person” acting moments. Same face, but suddenly instead of a silly spoiled dude, he is an adult man.

  4. I like the little exchange with the massage SO MUCH! He holds up his leg as a joke, she takes it seriously, and he is all “oh no, I would never!!!!” He may be a bit of a city jerk, but he has no dumb ideas about a wife “serving” him.

  5. I just watched a True Crime show where a husband built a decorative pond in the backyard purely for the purpose of drowning his wife in it. And now that’s all I can think of with the villages decorative pond. Someone must have needed to kill their wife, and then they left it in just because it looked pretty.

  6. Oh Shahrukh, I see what you are doing with your sunglasses in your shirt. Can you not have 5 minutes without showing off your clavicle?

  7. It is a bit pathetic that his transition to adulthood is doing what any kid would have done. Immersing his father’s ashes isn’t really noble, it is expected. He is so LAME!

  8. Women carrying crops on in baskets strapped to their heads is pretty picture, but there HAS to be a better way to transport crops!

    • It was!!!! Very time I took friends to see it, I warned them that the tiger dancers are REALLY SCARY. All of this stuff that is just bright colors on your TV is down right scary on big screen.
