Sunday WatchAlong: Raabta! Reincarnation and Jim Sarbh! 1pm Chicago Time

Happy Sunday! I already walked the dog, took the bus to the house, bought coffee on the way, walked over, saw my friends’ new couch and got my hairbrush from where I stashed it, took the bus back, walked the dog again, and now I am going to watch a movie with you lovely people. The random extra day of homelessness is just going to FLY by!

Raabta! I love it, and if you don’t, you are wrong.

It’s on Prime and various other places. At 1pm Chicago time, I will put up an “and PLAY” comment and we will go from there, all together. Yaaaay!

  1. Okay, the white girl leaving India after vacation look is ON POINT! “oo, look at this comfy fun shirt and scarf I bought!”

  2. Budapest! Landmarks! I have been there, and I recognize the landmarks but have no idea what they are called. They aren’t named for their color, that’s the problem. Although that might be the “Golden Bridge”?

  3. Another fun thing, in a different movie the challenge of getting rid of the extra dude would be the whole first half. In this one, they act like sane independent people and just dump him because she wants to dump him.

    • Agreed. Also, this scene could have easily been obnoxious and annoying but somehow in this movie it’s cute and understandable.

  4. By the way, I am watching this at my parents which means my Dad is wondering in and out going “wait, what’s happening? Is this a fortune teller?”

  5. By the way, my Dad is now sitting on the couch with me determinedly looking at his laptop and not at the screen with all the kissy people.
