Happy Friday! And Happy Shabana day! I am very nervous about this movie because I haven’t seen it before and what if it is SAD??? But even if it is sad, it still has Shashi, so that is HAPPY.
Fakira! It’s on Prime for a small rental fee, youtube with ads, and einthusan! Pick your poison, I will be on Prime myself.

At 3pm Chicago time, I will put up an “and PLAY” comment and we will all comment along from there! Based on the poster, many of our comments will be fashion/grooming related.
It is NOT clear to me whence they have obtained this “chhote sarkaar.”

I do very much appreciate that there is a girl member of their gang who is a full fledged member and part of all their cons, not just “sexy”.

I am certain there are other disguise-yourself-as-a-nawab schemes, but even between this movie and “Ishq,” if a nawabby guy walked into my shop, I would immediately be on high alert!

I don’t know if I trust Shabana. Is this a real story, or is she a policewoman under cover or something?

I can’t think of anyone who starts an explanation with “I am a helpless woman.” So my guess is undercover operative.

I can, but now I am realizing all those female characters turned out to be faking too. Including Shabana herself in AAA.

No one is going to ask Shabana “why are you dressed like you are in Switzerland”?

LOL! I shall imagine that, since her uncle was after all her money, so she had to steal her only set of clothes off of a winter-wonderland-themed department store Christmas display.

CLAP ON CLAP OFF LIGHTS!!!!!! Why did those never take off?

My entire childhood was filled with ads for those things. They were HUGE in the 80s. But then something would fall and all the lights would go out…

Everybody is in their snazzy monochrome costumes: cream-colored suit, deep blue burka, and. . . whatever the heck is going on with Asrani : P
LikeLike
Okay, let me see if I have this right. Danny as a very young child was kidnapped by criminals. Shashi and his friend Asrani lived on the streets and survived by their wits, eventually forming a gang with Aruna Irani to steal from criminals and give the money to the police. Now, a corrupt politician/criminal is pressuring Iftakhar, the police commissioner, to capture Shashi. Iftakhar has sent in his own daughter Shabana undercover. At the same time, the politician/criminal has hired Danny to kill Shashi NOT KNOWING THEY ARE BROTHERS.

You are, to my knowledge, correct. Although Shashi, Aruna, and Asrani are funneling most of that stolen cash into home improvements, seemingly.
