Friday WatchAlong: Mohabbattein! 3pm Chicago Time! The Movie I Can’t Spell!

Have you noticed I can’t seem to decide on a spelling for this dang movie? To many vowels! to many t’s and b’s! I just don’t know. But you know the movie I am talking about, right?

Mohabbatein! It’s on Prime and youtube and all kinds of places. It is very long and fairly boring in places, but has great songs and Shahrukh and sweaters on sweaters and sweaters.

At 3pm Chicago time, I will put up an “And PLAY” comment and we will go from there. Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!

  1. There is nothing redeemable in Amitabh’s character. In fact in all his movies with SRK he is the biggest pill. Thus I do not have the love for him I am supposed to. Such a drag of a man. His best role was in Bunty Aur Babli.

  2. Wait, so it IS a hallucination? Not a ghost? Or is it a ghost? He siad she isn’t int he world any more, but then he says she is happy?

  3. Well this is a sudden change of heart! Also, if I was one of his students from the last 25 years I would be pretty mad about this. Why did I pay that much money for a lousy principal who doesn’t believe in what he taught any more?

  4. Ah hah! I just had a realization, if I actually spoke Hindi these monologues would be interesting! Subtitles can only give me so much in super long monologues.

  5. Oh dear, I missed it. Going through a bit of anxiety at the moment, woke up at stupid o’clock, was then awake for a few hours before falling asleep again and missing the movie.
