Has to be Friday, because I am going to a concert on Friday, woot! Meaning I will need/want to sleep in on Saturday. But also, Friday is SHASHI DAY ITSELF. So we have to celebrate.
I’m not even gonna make suggestions. I know there are far FAR more qualified Shashi-ites here. I will just sit back and let you make suggestions and then shoot them down because it’s too hard to find copies online.
Hit me!

Well this is fun! I recommend 1. Do Aur Do Paanch and 2. Sawaal only because they are both on Amazon Prime. Out of the two, I think DCIBers (especially if Genevieve’s sons are joining) would enjoy Do Aur Do slightly more. Amitabh and Shahi are both con artists. There are cute children. Hema is a strict teacher. Parveen is super fashionable! Shashi is gorgeous (duh) and Amitabh eats a LOT of biryani!

Oh, it’s been a really long time since I saw “Sawaal.” Both of those are fun!

“Suhaag” is one of my FAVORITE favorite movies, and invariably the one that I show to people when I’m trying to get them hooked on ’70s stuff. IDK if Margaret will have access because it looks like that video might be region-locked. . . I have it on DVD, obviously ; D
I feel like “Salaakhen” gets a bad rap, but in my opinion it’s actually pretty good–? Especially for people who like Sulakshana and/or character-actor-era Shammi.

I watched Salaakhen last year and didn’t like it, although I have now 100% forgotten what it was like.

Hey, if it only works in Europe it’s fine. I think those in the US might be able to rent it or have it on Prime or something anyway.

Last time I checked, Suhaag is actually on Hoopla! The American library app. Anyway, I am also happy to rent it on The YouTube.

I can only be there for an honourary appearance, will watch anything, although less enthused about Sawaal which I have never seen for whatever reason, and Salaakhen, which I did not like.
