Happy Sunday! It’s overcast and snowy outside and both me and Albie Dog are feeling grumpy. So this film had better live up to it’s feel good rep!
Tara vs Bilal
It’s on Netflix, every DCIBer who’s seen it has given it a good review, I am willing to check it out especially if I have y’all to watch it with me.

At 8am Chicago time, I will put up an “And PLAY” comment and we will go from there!
Oh Bilal! Get over your TRAUMA!!! Your Train Trauma!!!!

And this is where Bilal turns it around for me. “Har bar jab tak mai zinda hoon tad tak.”

Yes! Same here.

Have to say that pretty realistic anxiety attack reaction to trauma that Harsh is acting on here. The stiffness, the discomfort of it all

It’s the best reason I’ve heard anybody give for riding a motorcycle in the UK.

Yea, it explains so much

Sorry, still laughing a little at the TRAIN TRAUMA!!!! It’s a wee bit over the top. Not on the same level as the Dance Trauma from Time to Dance, but still in that same family.

Well great, now we have traumatised Genevieve again with a Harsh movie.

As I recall, the demand was “no dead kids,” not “no dead dads.”

I’m not traumatized as much as failing to see how watching a completely unlikable (though attractive) character for an hour and 20 minutes is a “happy movie”.

I had to walk away on that scene. That was a bit too much for me to watch again!

Again, I love Tara cursing so much. For a “good girl” she is so rebellious

I did not like the way he brought it up at first pressuring her with the money he paid her. But this argument over dinner is super cute, totally feels like an argument.

I’m hoping/ assuming that when they kiss the chemistry will be AMAZING

Will it turn Bilal likeable? I look forward to that.

For me, the dialogue from the train scene starts his rehab and the kids seals the deal!

What right does Ritz have to criticize Jiggy’s fashion sense? Each print shirt is more dazzling than the last; I don’t care if he tucks them in.

Again, being Queer or from a different community regarding marriage is no obstacle in this film. Very much in the comfort watch territory!
