Such an exciting weekend! I scheduled a last minute KKHH watch late late late on Saturday, and then I changed the proposed time of this morning’s viewing from 7am Chicago time to 10am Chicago time. And this one was scheduled a bit last minute too. Oh well, hopefully I still get people to join! Who doesn’t love SOTY2?Continue reading
Special holiday watchalong! I’ve got Monday off here in America, so I am scheduling a special watchalong that hopefully can hit up some of the people who can’t make the usual Friday afternoon time. Also, it’s Karan’s birthday! So we have to do a Dharma film.Continue reading
No idea if this will work, but why not! I’ll be awake, I love Kuch Kuch, if you are also awake and love KKHH, you should watch it with me. And if you live in international zones, I may possible send you an email to make sure you see the scheduling. Not in a creepy way (I hope), but in a helpful way.Continue reading
Okay, this means the people who wanted to participate from the east coast of America will have to wake up a wee bit early. But our global friends have suffered enough with our Friday afternoon time! Let them have the nicer schedule!Continue reading
Unless you think it is a brilliant perfect movie. Then it may not be better than you think, because it is definitely not perfect. But it is way better than reviews say!Continue reading
Woo-hoo! Friday watchalong, high point of my week! And tonight is my turn to pick the movie to watch with my parents, another high point!Continue reading
I decided! Jhoom Barabar Jhoom! This may have been a terrible terrible mistake. I love it, but whose to say I am right? But you all like Preity, right? She has the dimples? And also, sorry, I messed up scheduling this post. Notice it is TWENTY-THREE hours from now, not 24. So, this time tomorrow, minus one hour. 3pm Chicago time.Continue reading
Last watchalong post! These did not get as many views/comments as I thought they would, so I am debating whether I should start another one. Let me know what you think!Continue reading
Watching the show the first time, I had no idea what would be left for the final episode because so much happened in this one. But there is SO MUCH MORE TO GO!!!!Continue reading

Remember I said yesterday I was leaving town but it was for a good reason? I get to go to a gravesite service with my Mom and my Uncle and the minister in a snowstorm at a cemetery by the side of the Mississippi river. Like we’re in a graphic novel or something.Continue reading
The countdown begins! 24 hours from now, we will all simultaneously press play on Netflix-Amazon-Hulu-DVD Player-Youtube-Einthusan-Spuul and start watching Maine Pyar Kiya!
If you are a regular reader, you should already know about this. But just in case you missed one of the earlier posts, or just started following me today, An Announcement! We are planning a twitter watchalong in exactly one week from now, 7pm Chicago time Saturday the 8th, of Maine Pyar Kiya. You can join in or following along using the hashtag #MPK.
I put up a post a week ago asking for votes on dates and films, and the winner is April 8/9 and Maine Pyar Kiya! Well, the qualified winner. There were a lot of split votes, Mann kind of tied with Maine Pyar Kiya. But Mann is apparently completely unavailable in Australia, so Maine Pyar Kiya it is!
36 hours, right? 24 hours plus 12? 1am GMT on Sunday is what I mean. We will watch Hum Saath Saath Hain while being hum saath saath hain on twitter!
Oooo, that headline sounds so fancy! “GMT” and all that! To make it simpler, 2/5/2017 1am Greenwich Mean time is 7pm 2/4/2017 Chicago time (where I am). It is 2pm Sydney time (I think), and various other times all over Australia (Australia is weird! 13 TIME ZONES!!!!!). And 10am in Japan. And 6:30am India time (sorry Indian readers!).
I’m not going to say “stolen”, because it comes so close to the line of theft, and then they slow it down and mix it up and it turns into something else entirely that is kind of original. So I’m going to go with “re-purposed” instead.
So, I and a few other lovely people stayed up very late/woke up very early to watch K3G together on twitter. And if you missed it, there is a way to relive the experience!
My publisher is helping me set up a watch along of K3G in a couple of days. If you want the live and fresh experience of my take on a film, check it out on twitter at my account, @mredlich21, or starting at 8pm CDT time on Thursday the 2nd (that’s 6:30am Friday the 3rd in India and I am embarrassed to tell you how long it took me to figure that out) follow and join in with the hashtags:
