News update!  Besides the haircut, there are some juicy/political things popping up.  Exciting!  But mostly it’s about the hair.

Shahrukh got a haircut!  THANK GOODNESS!!!  I am pro-breaded scruff, but anti-longer hair.  The ideal is short hair-slight beard.  Like Chak De.  Anyway, he tweeted a photo this morning of his new look, hair hacked off.  But sadly, no beard.

Moving on to less important news, Rishi Kapoor just stirred a huge political bonfire.  He tweeted a suggestion that fewer public features (airports, roads, etc.) should be named for the Gandhis.  So of course Congress is FREAKING. OUT.  And Anupum Kehr is supporting him.  And the cynical people in society are suggesting that he is just sucking up to the BJP.  Personally, I think this is yet another time that Rishi just says what he wants to say and doesn’t think it through.

Also, Arbaaz and Malaika might be back together!  Supposedly, she is considering moving back into the family home.  So, was I right that this was just yet another publicity move?  Or was it a real marital thing?  Even though it turned out to not be a real thing, just a trial separation, I think I might land on the “not just publicity” side of things.  Because they never really publicized anything this whole time.  If they announced a movie opposite each other AND a reconciliation, then definitely.  But as it is, looks like they really did hit a marital rough patch and work through it.

Speaking of break-ups, Ranbir Kapoor might have moved on from the Kat break-up and started dating a random “Delhi-ite” he met through his sister.  But the big question is, will this make it easier or harder to finish Jagga Jasoos?  I’m going with harder.  The set photos do not look comfortable.

(This just doesn’t quite have the look of “they have totally moved on and are both friends and professionals now!”)

Also with a Delhi-ite, Sonam Kapoor’s sister Rhea!  She is officially engaged to Karan Boolani, no idea who he is, I’m assuming some rich guy?  Anyway, I look forward to Anil Kapoor being the sappiest and the happiest father of the bride ever.

Oh, and speaking of weddings, the new rumor is that Iulia and Salman are getting married on his birthday, December 27th.  But I still don’t believe it.
