See, it was this scene that hit me. Again, it’s a teen movie, but if it wanted to, it could have really explored a lot more issues about class and passion and drive. Both of them falling in love with Alia was just the straw that broke the camel’s back to drive a wedge between them.
I also love Alia’s response to all of this in a minute.
