Happy Birthday Salman! The Biggest Reasons I am Glad You Were Born!

What, just because it’s Jesus’ Birthday too, you thought I would skip Salman today?  No!  If I didn’t skip Anil yesterday, I’m not skipping Salman now!

1.1. I am SO GLAD you were born in late December, so I would have a topic for a bunch of posts that I could right in advance and schedule for Christmas week, and therefore have more time for family now.  I am sure you would approve, since you are so big on family yourself.

2. I am so glad you were born so that, 50 years later, you could shoot this music video which I find inexplicably entertaining.

3. I am so glad you were born so that you could step in after Shahrukh dropped out and make sure one of my all time favorite movies was made.

4. I am so glad you were born so that you could be photographed wearing a Santa hat with adorable children, thus providing a holiday-appropriate image for this post.

5. Speaking of adorable children, I am glad you were born so that, years later, this little girl could find your movies and fall in love with you and propose (through youtube)

  1. You only like that pic of Salman in a Santa hat because it is Christmas appropriate, and not because of the cause he is championing there? I think the latter is more important. Anyway, if you wrote these posts ahead of time, I wonder if you are aware of the launch of the new Salman app on his birthday this year? I guess you must be, since you follow his twitter feed. I don’t know if you’ll be back from your vacation by then, so I shall wait and see.

    • Yes, I saw he’s been promoting an app release on his twitter, but I’m still not really clear what it is? Partly because technology is always a little confusing for me. I’ll wait until it comes out and let some technology reporter on a news website explain it to me 🙂

      • Well, right now it’s only releasing on Google Play (which I’ve never used — maybe this will get me to learn it?). It’s called “Being in Touch”, and, from a tweeted video from Salman I saw yesterday, seems to be a way to order Being Human clothing, which doesn’t excite me so much. I did suspect it would be something to do with Being Human, just because of the name. It’s only notable for me because he is promoting it so much, *and* tying it to his birthday, both of which are activities he seldom indulges in.
