I know I’ve been doing a lot of song posts lately, but I am sick of reporting on Padmavat and not much else has been happening. So, songs it is! Just to keep us busy for a bit until the one-two of Padman and Aiyaary next week. Oh, and there’s a dog video at the end, if you are into that sort of thing.
There hasn’t been any Prabhas coverage for like 3 weeks, and I know it is all that it is all some of you life for. So here! Have a wet Prabhas song!
And to balance that, a wet Shahrukh song!
Another Ratnam rainy love song.
So far I’ve been focused on rain, but how about some literally wet land?
Urmila’s birthday is coming up, little preview of the celebration she will get. Also, speedo warning at 3:30.
And of course, the wettest and happiest song of them all
And now, your bonus video, if I did this right it should be a minute and a half of my temporary dog and her little face.
Is that Murder She Wrote playing in the background?

Yes it Is! Didn’t mean to record it, didn’t realize the sound was on

This has to be on the list of wet songs
Also, that dog is soooo sweet. I hope she gets her forever home soon.

Excellent choice! Although I do get distracted by how Aamir’s hair is noticeably less than full in this song when it is wetted down.

Thank you for this post! I fell asleep listening to Mellaga last night.. I should move Jiya Jale up the playlist too I guess.
Funny story about Tanha Tanha – so it was a big hit. I was around 11 when the film came out and my then BFF, a dude, went to watch it with his family. We used to hang out on the terrace of my nani’s first floor apartment throwing things off it and watching them fly and I ask the guy for his review. He says, he would never allow me to watch it and it’s not for kids. He was literally three days older than me and we were like 11 at the time. I believed him and I didn’t watch this film till I was in my 20s and I still feel guilty watching this song!!

When I was 5, Home Alone came out and it was decided that my sister (7) was old enough to see it, but I wasn’t. So she and Dad went to see it and Mom and I stayed home, and to this day I haven’t seen the film. Because I’m not old enough! It’s for my big sister, not me. Too scary.
On the other hand, Rangeela is so not adult! Sure, Urmila is sexy, but take that out and it is the sweetest fairy tale like love story ever.

You’ve never seen Home Alone?!?! It’s one of the most amazing movies ever! I saw it for the first time when I was five and it’s been one of my favorite movies ever since. By the way, the movie is set in Chicago.

It was actually filmed right around where my Grandparent’s lived and my Dad grew up. So I’ve never seen the movie, but I spent my childhood driving around the location, and having people casually say “oh look, there’s the Home Alone house”.

D’awwwwwww. Thank you for sharing doggie footage. She is a sweetie. Hope the morning/evening timing improves. I’m living with a teenager so I can sympathize with the night person/morning person challenge. 🙂

Well, she is getting her first Heartworm treatment today, so she will soon be an entirely different (much more miserable) dog. And then eventually a happier dog, but before that, a very sick and sad one.
