Dear Zindagi Full Coverage Index

And another Shahrukh movie!  I honestly didn’t set out to cover Shahrukh more than anyone else (I do personally like him more than anyone else, but that shouldn’t affect my professional style reviews).  It’s just that I started the blog in late 2015, and since then Shahrukh has been in 5 major movies and Salman and Aamir have only been in 1 each (I’m not counting Tubelight), and Dangal came out at Christmas so I didn’t have time for full coverate.

  1. Thanks a lot, Margaret 🙂 those indexes are a great idea (imo)…it’s so much easier to save one link and still have everything you wrote and all the comments 🙂

    • Yeah, I’m really pleased now that I have finished them. Next project, I really need an index of all my reviews. But that is a much much bigger thing, probably won’t be happening any time soon.

      • Just curious on a technical front, when you say index of reviews do you mean indexing reviews of films by year or month or something like that? Because I’m sure wordpress supports programmable automation of a lot of such stuff instead of having to manually bunch them together which is of course tedious. For example all of your URL links are already formatted date wise and even have the movie names in them, so that kind of thing lends itself nicely to said automation.

Although unfortunately again I think it will also depend on what flavor of wordpress you are on etc for whether or not that kind of programming is supported to make your life easier.

        • Months and months back I asked the readers to give feedback on what they would prefer, and a simple alphabetical list of reviews divided by language was by far the preference. Which would be easy if I had been doing it all along, but I haven’t, so now it is not.

          • Ok I think you indicated recently that right now at this point you’re not really ready to take more control of this site yourself, which is to say break free of wordpress-hosted version to your own independently hosted site (costs only about some $30 or so a year) which also buys you complete and total freedom and flexibility without needing to know or learn anything completely new or complicated.

You may want to peruse this if and when you feel like it, just to get an idea what little time and effort it takes to make the move.
