Index of Indexes: Every Film I have Covered in Detailed Scene By Scene Style

Let’s make this a little easier for you, if you want to just read my super super intense detailed analysis/coverage of individual films, the stuff no one else on The Internet or even in the real world really does, here are all the films (so far) that have gotten this kind of treatment.  Just click on the name to be taken to their individual Indexes.

Dilwale (the first one!)

Fan (the second one!)

Sultan (the third one!)

Dear Zindagi (the fourth one!)

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (the fifth one!)

Raees (the sixth one!)

Bahubali (the most popular one!)

Jab Harry Met Sejal (the second most popular one!)

Luck By Chance (the annotated footnotes one!)

Padmavat (the not very long one!)

Thugs of Hindostan (the other not very long one!)

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (the theme based one)

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (the never ending one)

  1. The librarian in you has gone wild, I see. 🙂

But thanks for this. This is an excellent idea!

(If you ever do one on HAHK, that will become your second never-ending one. 🙂 )

    • I could! I could do anything. If I ever finish DDLJ (big if), I’ll have to find a new one. Although technically DDLJ was part of my SRKajol every movie series. So I should follow it up with Kuch Kuch instead.

      • By then, the next ShahRukh movie might be out…and honestly I hope it will tempt you enough to do it before KuchKuchHotaHai…it was sooooooo much fun to discuss an actual ShahRukh 🙂

        thanks for the ‘librarian’ work

        • Shahrukh movies always get my scene by scene! Because he picks such interesting projects, and also you nice people are always so interested in reading them.

          • Are you the person who posted a link to my Dear Zindagi coverage on a German language chat room? I got like 200 new hits off of that, and I really wanted to thank whoever it was, but I couldn’t figure it out. So if it was you, THANK YOU!!!!

        • In theory, I am doing all the SRKajol films in order. If I ever finish DDLJ, K2H2 would be the next one. And then K3G. And then MNIK. And then I’ve already done Dilwale.

  2. Margaret, three questions:
    – You did a post about SRK and Dilwale deal…what do you think about putting it to the Dilwale themed section?
    – Would there be a possibility to put all your movie reviews in a finder A to Z
    – Do you know somebody who has done a listing of all ShahRukh tweets including pictures per year/month?

    • Pardon my multiple posts please, but I am working on my favourites and instead of having dozens of your single posts, I use this page to pool them. For Fan I equally found two posts (Box-office and Making of) which maybe would fit into the index for Fan…

      • Yeah, I think there is also a post discussing the teasers and mini-fan documentaries that came out to promote it.

    • -I am debating that. Just in general, should I track down all my news items related to a film release and add it to the Index? It might be a good idea, but it would also be quite a bit of work. Mostly because I wouldn’t know when I was done. With the run up articles, I know I am looking for 7, and once I find those 7, I can stop hunting. But with the news articles, I would have to spend a lot longer looking to make sure I included everything, because I have no idea how many I am looking for.

-Yes, that is a long term goal. It’s really hard though, even as site administrator I just have the same access you have as a reader. So there is no magic search I can run to pull up all the reviews, it would be a matter of going through every post one by one, and then linking back to them.

-I don’t. Have you checked SRKuniverse? I know they have a chat room just for discussing tweets.
