Happy first TGIF post after Shahrukh month! And it will be (almost) Shahrukh free! Because he isn’t always “cuddly”. In the “teddy bear” kind of way.

While we are down south, let’s swing by Madhavan! Not muscley present Madhavan, but nice mushy Madhavan from a few years back.
See how he has the pillow to protect himself? Because he knows we just want to curl up against him like a big old pillow.
See? Even in a police uniform, you just want to hug him.
I have to say, present day Mohanlal might be a bit much even for me. And he is also super super old. But wow, young Mohanlal!!!! Soft around the edges, but with that nice steady fire in his eyes?

Is that it? Is that all the southerners required? Oh wait! PRABHAS!!!! I know I will get in trouble if I forget him, especially after a whole month of no Prabhas on the TGIF posts. See how he’s got that nice “Netflix and chill with a soft man-pillow” vibe to him here?
See, that’s what Anushka’s thinking here, “I could just lean down and rest my head on his nice soft tummy and take a nap.”
And his sweet little smile really goes well with the whole teddy bear vibe.
Okay, NOW can we move North???? Where it will be much harder to find examples! Hmm. Well, there’s Arjun Kapoor, who is all nice and snuggly now instead of that scary boney Gunday look.

And then there’s Sanjay Dutt! Sure, most of it is muscle, but there’s enough body fat there to make him huggable.

Let’s see, Rishi is done, Salman and Amitabh and Jackie Shroff and the other usual suspects never really got “cuddly”. At least, not as young men. Oh oh!!! Abhishek!!!! See, Aish knows what’s what. A six pack may look nice onscreen, but is it all soft under your cheek?
Is that it? Are there no more Hindi film heroes with nice cuddly shapes? I guess not!

Mmm. Warm guy and cold whiskey. Wish it wasn’t in the 70s where I am right now. In NOVEMBER! I am so down with the teddy bear guys. I find Prabhas wayyyyyy hotter in these photos than in Bahubali. For Western guys, Alfred Molina and Mark Ruffalo (in his non-Avengers workout body) come to mind. I’m sure there are more but my brain is filled with hot Indian men. Ah well.

Oh thank goodness! I was looking at this post thinking “is anyone even going to enjoy this?”
Also, it suddenly dropped in temperature the past few days in Chicago, and now I am wondering if that is where this post idea came from.
Oh, and watch Vettai when you get a chance, if you want a real teddy bear in both body and spirit, but SO CHARMING. Maddy is the best.

I was thinking about Tovino too. He is slim, but can look super cuddly sometimes, like in Minnunnunde Mullapole song from Tharangam or in Abhiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum trailer.

Vettai is the one I couldn’t get over. Literally any other actor in the world, and I would hate that character. But it was Maddy, so I just wanted to pinch his little cheeks and give him a big hug.

So what exactly are the criteria for “cuddly”? That he not have muscles? That he must have facial hair and look “furry”? Well, Prabhas in all those “cuddly” photos you posted had his Mahendra/Amarendra hard muscled body underneath those floppy clothes. So I don’t see how he could qualify for “cuddly”, unless you’re going by his beard.
SRK fails the “cuddly” look on both criteria. Besides, he’s too thin to ever be “cuddly”, IMO, nowadays even more so.
