I have to actually do work-work today (boooooooo!) so there is no way I can keep up with all the birthday stuff coming out. I’ll hit the highlights in this post and trust y’all to keep it going in the comments!

I like doing the light fun listicles in the countdown, but ultimately my Shahrukh fandom is fun listicles but also something a lot deeper. And I know this is a safe space to express that.

Yes, second to last day of SRK month! And how best to celebrate? Advertisements! He does love his brand ambassador money and isn’t ashamed of it, why not celebrate that?

It’s snowing in Chicago! First snow of the year, very exciting. So naturally I want to do 27 photos of Shahrukh in snow.

This is gonna be fun! I will suggest a full 24 hours of SRK content for your viewing pleasure, should you ever need to be awake for 24 hours and want to watch Shahrukh!

So I have a wee bit of a headache and also I am lazy, not counting to 23! Just counting to 4, but 4 things when I was 23, so it still makes sense!

Welp, this is gonna be tricky! For one thing, I can’t speak/write Hindi so I have to rely on others to be accurate in their translations. But I think I can do it!

Okay, ready for a controversial one??? I’m gonna give my own personal rankings, best to worst, of what I think are his 19 best films. You get to argue for things not on my list, or thinks put in the wrong order, or whatever you want!

I wish he would do more interesting period pieces! Largely because I want to see him in big pretty costumes/wigs. Allow me to make some suggestions!

Filmikudhi has a daughter! Freshly arrived in the world just hours ago, ready to join her pre-existing child Mr. Toddles! This is very exciting of course, as are all babies, and especially DCIB babies. And this also gave me an idea for an SRK post! Which is good, because it’s day 17 and I am running out of ideas.

Shahrukh really stays pretty basic in his professions. There’s engineer, Businessman, criminal….and that’s it. I guess also sometimes teacher and private detective and actor. Still, a whole WORLD of jobs out there for him!

I made it halfway through the month without a fanfic-y post! Go me! I love fanfic-y posts, but I think they are probably more fun for me to write than for you to read. (I originally wrote “fanfic-y pots” and I almost left it because I like the idea of fanfic pots). This post also was much longer than I realized, thus being a day late to post!

I’ve got the plumbers in today, blech, so I am thinking about water. I shall do a water themed post! And SRK looks so good wet anyway.

Yes yes, I missed another day! But I missed it because I was busy seeing Jawan in theaters for the 4th time, and doing a watchalong of Guddu, so I think that is allowed.

I do love SRK in a tuxedo. And I am very grateful that he wears so many of them, and they are so well fitted. Also, if Joyomama wants to swing in and actually define what a tuxedo is, that would be great! Because I am pretty sure I included some here that are not technically tuxedos.

Okay, 20 days from now is November 1! So I think I caught up. After 30 days, it is Birthday Eve, and then there is a separate celebration for Birthday Day!

I may not be using these words right, and I am DEFINITELY not using all the sweet urban slang out there that could be applied. So fill in my gaps!

The songs continue!!! And I missed Amitabh’s birthday this year too, so might as well throw that in.

So close to catching up! Today is really day 10, and I made it to 7. Anyway, SONGS! One of the best things to talk about with SRK. And too many options so I’m gonna artificially limit it to my favorite of his songs with kids.

Love him or hate him, Daboo is definitely THE photographer for Hindi film. And he works really well with SRK.
