Continue readingWell, this was a dull episode! It got to where it needed to be in the end, but it was kind of limp on the way there. Continue readingOoooo, this episode was JUICY!!!! Both on and off screen. The characters had all kinds of back and forth and movement, but boy is it hard to watch and not think of Karisma working through her own issues of mothering and how she was mothered! (index of all Mentalhood reviews here)

It’s the streaming branch of Ekta Kapoor’s entertainment empire, and while on satellite TV she is know for inventing the sweet saccharine family drama, on streaming she is all about groundbreaking quality. This show isn’t the best of what she’s done, but it’s pretty darn good! Especially if you like mommy problems dramedies (Big Little Lies, the Bad Moms movies, etc.).
