It’s funny, usually when we think of Superhero movies, we think about being inspired or excited or hopeful. But that’s not why someone would become a vigilante, they would become a vigilante because they are just so ANGRY. This is a movie that puts you in the mindset of the superhero, not those he is saving. And it’s a dark place.

Continue readingI already put up the No Spoilers review. I’m not necessarily going to direct you to it instead of this one. This is a very good movie, and has some plot surprises built in. But it is also a very angry movie, so I am essentially giving you a “trigger” warning. If you are someone (like myself) who sometimes finds yourself crying with rage at political ads, this is not a healthy movie for you to watch. Instead, read my summary so you have an educated understanding of what this film is.
So many trailers today! And also, good buzz for 102 Not Out. Shoot! I was thinking about taking a week off from watching movies, or else going regional instead. Oh well, I probably would have wanted to see it anyway just for Rishi and Amitji’s reunion.
