Hey! They changed the plot! Like, quite a bit! Mostly by cutting things out. But for those of us (me) who rely on online summaries to follow the dang thing, it was very confusing. Once I let go of what I thought was going to happen and just enjoyed what was happening, it was fine.
Continue readingWhen I was growing up, before we went to see a Shakespeare play, my Mom would always read the synopsis aloud to us. Because you don’t want to be distracted by trying to follow the guaranteed-to-be-complicated plot while enjoying the performances and everything else. This is very much that kind of a movie, super SUPER complicated plot and it’s gonna be easier to appreciate the experience if you can relax and know who everyone is without trying to follow things.

I finally saw a Vikram movie! And my goodness, he is good! From what I can see, this isn’t a very good movie of his. But he is far far more entertaining even in this than the other actors I have seen.
