Oh! Baby Review (SPOILERS): Gentle Misogynist Comedy

Oh dear, I did not like this movie. I don’t like not liking movies, especially when I think that some of you might like them. Oh well.

Oh Baby Review (No Spoilers): Best Part About it Is Samantha’s Costumes

Yesterday I treated myself to a double bill, because I had the day off work and it’s super hot so I wanted movie theater air conditioning. This was a kind of random pick based on showtimes and the trailer looking cute. I don’t exactly regret watching it, but I’m also not super happy I did.

Super Deluxe Review (SPOILERS): Subtle Misogyny Ruins Visual Fireworks

I’ve been informed that this movie is getting crazy buzz, like “best film of the decade” buzz. Huh. I just don’t see it. It’s good, but it also has major flaws. If you saw it and want some help following the plots, or if you aren’t able to see it but want to know what happens, you can read this review. If you want to go in without knowing what will happen, you can read my other review. Mahanati Review (SPOILERS): A Fresh New 80s Love Story Surrounded By A Tired 1950s Variation on A Star is Born

I already put up the No Spoilers review, but I’m not even sure if those rules apply to this kind of movie.  It’s based on a true story, and there aren’t really many surprises along the way.  So you can read that review if you really hate spoilers, but otherwise you might as well read this review too.  Although, fair warning, I also didn’t like this movie very much, so I may spoil it for you in a different way by making it no longer seem good.

Tuesday Telugu: Mahanati Review (No Spoilers), A Huge Talent Cut Down to Fit in a Love Story

Well, I saw it!  And I did NOT like it.  And then I went home to discover that Dog Hazel had gotten lonely and into the trash and eaten a bunch of stuff she shouldn’t.  So all around, a failure of an evening.
