It’s not an actress whose first movie was this year (although there are some of those), it could also be an actress who had been around for a while but finally got noticed this year. Continue readingWell, the FilmFare Awards happened. We didn’t get to see it because, unlike the Oscar producers, the FilmFare people are too smart to do a live broadcast. We’ll get to see a version that is edited down to just the good bits on whatever channel buys the satellite rights. Which also changes a bit who might be winning these awards.
This came up from a discussion I had in the comments back on Monday with the commentator “Sal” about Kunal Kapoor. And I thought “Heck, I bet I can get another silly Friday post out of this! And one that will leave you lots to discuss and consider over the weekend!” Because I KNOW you are not all going to agree with me on all of these.
