We were talking in the Jab Tak Hai Jaan review about how “Ishq Shava” was such a different style of dance for Shahrukh and that got me thinking about the other songs that really showcase his dancing. If I miss one, feel free to add it in the comments. Oh, and this is NOT “Best Songs”. There’s all kind of amazing song sequences with perfect performances from him that are not included here, because they didn’t highlight dancing.

There is another big birthday today, but I am following a “if you can’t say anything nice” policy and ignoring it. But that means Sukhwinder gets a day all to himself! And he deserves it, he has worked very hard for a very long time.
I am finding this fascinating, looking at the slow progression of the Shahrukh Khan romance over the years. Not every romance, but almost all, the ones I find interesting to talk about. (part 1 here, part 2 here)
So, there’s some kind of stressful/disturbing news that my family just got which could turn out to be nothing, or to be something kind of difficult for the next few years. I won’t get into it, but sending good thoughts our way would be nice! Happy Day After Labor Day! An odd holiday, most other places celebrate it in May, but in America we do things differently. It’s also our unofficial end of summer/beginning of Fall holiday. Schools start after Labor Day, you aren’t supposed to wear white (white is a “summer” color) after Labor Day, everyone has their last cookout and then puts the grill away for the year. Which means today is the beginning of my favorite season, Fall!

So, I found out through Amitji’s twitter that yesterday was Farah Khan’s birthday! And I MISSED IT!!! This is horrible! I feel like I should airmail her a birthday cake or something.
Well, instead, I will write an article about why she is so awesome. Not 50 reasons, like I did for Salman, but just 21. So she can pretend she is still younger than Shahrukh. (Apparently, it is also her cousin Farhan’s birthday, and all I have to say to him is WHERE IS DON 3?!?!?!?)
