Shankar! Totally bonkers visuals, very reductive view of relationships. Makes for movies that don’t really work for me as a whole, but very fun little mini movie song sequences. Especially since he usually partners with AR Rahman.
Continue readingDon’t believe the hype! 2.0 did very very good, but still not as good as many other films of the past. The box office is still sliding. At least, the international box office. From what I am seeing, the Indian box office truly was record breaking. (as always numbers from bollywoodhungama.com)
This is my favorite way to be wrong. A movie I wrote off as terrible based on the ad campaign and so on turns out to be great! Boo for my predictive abilities but YAAAY for the WORLD!!!!
Happy Tuesday! The box office figures for this week released early, so I already wrote about them, which gives me an opening in the schedule to do a news round-up. What fun!
