What a nice movie! A bit rambly and confusing, even more than usual for Malayalam films, but the characters are so interesting and nice that it keeps me going, and everyone ends in a good place.

Continue readingWell, shoot! This was not a great movie. After I spent all that time reading and thinking about the book, the film was just bleh. Kanan Gill was still amazing, but the rest of it really wasn’t worth it. Oh, and then the end credits song with Badshah and Diljit was fun too.

I see what you did there!” And also, retroactively, turns Mithila into the lead character. Which is especially interesting since Dhruv Sehgal wrote the show, and plays the other character.
