Happy Tuesday! Now that the holiday is over, I’m trying to get back on a regular schedule but it is HARD. Anyway, that means Tuesday box office time. (as always, figures from renttrack by way of bollywoodhungama)
You know Dina? Who I used to do the podcasts with and who I always see movies with on Friday nights? Her birthday is this week, and I won’t be able to give her her present beforehand, so instead she will have to make do with this theme post.
Well, it’s not the best pun title, but it’s something. The point is, bad week at the box office this week! October did terribly, and took all the screens, so nothing else had any space. (as always, figures courtesy of renttrack courtesy of Bollywoodhungama)
I’m awake, I’ve had a bagel for breakfast, I am ready to come back to this movie with spoilers. I already put up a “no spoilers” review, you can read that if you want to go in really fresh, there are two big twists you might not want to miss out on. However, the majority of the film is just action sequences you could predict from the trailer, so it may not be worth avoiding spoilers.
So tired, so late, and yet I am staying up just a little bit longer so I can bring you my first review. And therefore be able to sleep a little later tomorrow morning, comfortably aware that I already have a new post up.

Well, romance is in the air! Or at least couples are in the air. Everyone is pairing up in their own way
Well, we loved this movie unconditionally (almost), but still managed to get into a big fight in the middle of the podcast over whether Siddharth or Tiger Shroff is a better actor. Don’t even know for sure how we got on that topic, but things were a bit heated for a while there. Which I am sure will be fun to listen to!
Well, that was a movie that happened! So glad I saw it with someone else, by the time we were 5 minutes in, my friend Dina and I were already getting the giggles just by exchanging glances. But it was kind of neat how it made me think back and really appreciate other better versions. (no spoiler review here) (oh, and I just remembered, I did a post already on the history of dance on film in general, you should read that here)
Well, that was a super fun movie to watch! But not because it was a good movie. Oh my goodness was it bad! To the point where we got the giggles about it.
I put up my non-spoilers review already, now it’s time for the one where I zoom through the whole film for those who missed it in theaters and want to know what happened, and for those who saw it in theaters and want a detailed discussion of every part.
I saw A Flying Jatt! With my friend who is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge Tiger Shroff fan! Don’t ask me why, I still don’t see it.
Baaghi! My first Tiger Shroff movie! Well, probably a good number of people’s first Tiger Shroff movie, since it is only his second over all. On the other hand, my 3rd Shraddha Kapoor movie! 4th if you count Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.
