This is a happy place, and a generally nice place, so obviously we all wish Ranbir well as a human person on earth, we want him to successfully defeat whatever internal demons he has, we want him to be at peace, and we aren’t going to troll him or stalk him or torment him on social media or any of that. But, I think we are allowed to say bad things about his acting, his films, and the way he presents himself to the world, right? That doesn’t make us bad people?

For Ramadan! Pathani Suit Brackets!

Every Ramadan, I get a burst of activity on my “Pathani suits” post. I don’t know if it’s because people are looking for fashion ideas, or if there is some annual tradition for people of visiting DCIB to drool over celebrities in Pathani suits while waiting for Iftar. Anyway, this seems like another fun bracket thing for us to do! Also, since I’ve gotten scolded before for fashion posts, I am aware that some of my picks may not fit the full definition of “Pathani” because it’s kind of hard to pin that down. But this is as close as I can come!

COVID Convo Post: To Entertain Myself, I Am Setting Myself a Series of Questions and Then Answering Them

Ugh, this is so BORING!!!! I feel totally fine and symptom free, but if I do anything more strenuous than walking across the apartment, I get all worn out. I’ve finished 30 coloring pages, 2 puzzles, and my first crossword puzzle EVER. Also, so many many podcasts (based on podcasts, the Australian police is generally useless) and many shows in which British people kill each other in pretty settings. And now that I am sick of all those things, I’m going to randomly write a bunch of things that I want to talk about.

OMG, this is such a FUN movie! You know? Like, it’s just fun to watch! No stress, no hangups, pure joy. Even ends with an end credits song literally saying that, all about returning to dance and song and joy. You should 100% watch it and NOT read the SPOILERS review until you do. Or do read it, it’s also a movie where 99% of the joy is in the spectacle, not the plot.
