This comes right up to the line of acceptable objectification. But I think we are still okay, because it’s not like we are saying anything about their basic bodies, or comparing them with non-muscley guys (Abhishek, you are the best), or even muscle to muscle. Merely in terms of the clothes they have chosen to wear, and the moments they have allowed to be photographed, who is the best?

Ready for a bunch of inspirational stories? They were down, they were hopeless, it was all impossible, and then against the odds they rose up again!!!!!! I am going to be so sick of inspiration by Independence Day, hopefully I can still enjoy Gold.
I think this is going to be the last part. The problem is, the more recent parts of Sanjay’s life don’t have the distance yet for them to be covered clearly. There’s little details, like him running the prison radio show, or Trishala calling him “Papa Dukes” on instagram, but the whole broad sweep of it isn’t clear yet. I got to the icky depressing part of Sanjay’s life today, the reason that I have been avoiding writing a Hindi 101 series on him because I just didn’t want to think about it. And I still don’t want to think about it, so I am going to put up a post of silly happy songs to sort of shake the bad thoughts out.
The tricky controversial part continues! And I want to get it all over with in one day, so we can move on to happier topics. Why exactly did Sanjay finally get out of jail? I’m finally doing it! The Sanjay Dutt Hindi Film 101 series! And if his movie gets delayed again, well that’s just too bad, they will have to live with my having already posted his series way way too early (not really, I’ll probably repost all these posts the day it comes out for convenience).
Happy Madhuri’s birthday week (again)! I tried to come up with something clever and original, and all I can come up with is a bunch of photos of Madhuri, which isn’t clever or original at all. Oh well, she was very pretty.

Okay, there are a few images beginning to filter out of the calendar-that-isn’t-a-calendar. For newbies, Dabboo is the biggest celebrity photographer. And every year, he gets together with his celebrity friends and shoots a calendar. 24 images, which are revealed at a party in January, and then 24 copies of the calendar are made and given to the models. That’s it, you can’t buy it, and the images aren’t made available to the public. Except through illegal fuzzy reprints that slowly leak out on the internet over the course of the next 24 hours. Which is their purpose, to be leaked so we all know Dabboo’s name and he gets publicity. Dabboo Dabboo Dabboo.
