I think, like myself, the world at large has gotten tired of no new SRK news, now that Fan promotions and IPL are over. So, since he isn’t poking his head out of doors, we are all scavenging around for whatever little scraps may be lying (laying?) around outside.
Quick news update today, not really new-news, mostly following up on developing stories. Oh, and an interesting article about Shahrukh.
I love it when the Khans do stuff! Everyone in India gets all excited and opinionated about it. Speaking of excitement and opinions, also new rumors about Kangana and Ranbir!
So, I and a few other lovely people stayed up very late/woke up very early to watch K3G together on twitter. And if you missed it, there is a way to relive the experience!
Not just the Yash Chopra romance, but the whole history of Indian film romance. There’s a little bit of Sargam, there’s a little bit of Johnny Mere Naam, a little bit of Andaaz. Only it’s all slightly twisted, slightly off and evil.
AbRam is getting so big! Well, big in terms of age, he is still a little pocket-sized nubbin in terms of mass. He turned 3 a few days ago, and I am finally getting around to doing a very abbreviated post about it. We don’t have many AbRam facts, or official videos, but we do have some really cute candid things. So I am putting up a tiny little post to match his tiny little body.
I was alerted to this news story by moviemavengal‘s twitter, feed and it made me so happy! And then to fluff up this post, I found some other random upcoming film news floating about the internet.
Normally I’d try to fluff this post up with some other new-news, but I’m not even going to bother! It’s all about the party!

Slow Monday, with no big releases last Friday and no new Hrithik-Kangana news, or any other scandal coming up to oust them off the front pages. But there are a couple of interesting sort of industrial notes.
Inspired by Dilwale, I am going through all previous SRKajol films in exhaustive detail! Karan-Arjun turns out to not be that Kajol-y, but it makes up for it by being super Salman-y. And super Amrish Puri-y. And super 90s-y.

Well, barely on Modi. It’s like a fragment of a quote from an interview where he talked about how he wasn’t going to talk about serious things any more unless it is on a platform specifically for serious things (is he considering a run for office? Let’s start that rumor! Or does he just mean another in depth essay or interview?).
Anyway, here is his quote:
“I think the developmental clause of his governance is fantastic. I am all for modernness and development. And it will be fantastic if he takes it up and makes it for the whole country,”
I think this isn’t quite “damning by faint praise”, but it is pretty close! He likes the developmental clause, but not necessarily anything else. And he is waiting to see if Modi is successful in instituting it for the whole country.
