We Are All Sad Today, and That is Okay
This is a Happy Place, and it will stay a Happy Place. For my own mental health, and that of the people who come here, we will resist negativity. But resisting negativity doesn’t mean resisting sadness. We can be sad, together, and acknowledge that we are feeling sad. And then we can, together, comfort and cheer each other. Happy (?) Monday! As long time readers know, I really really struggle with SAD (seasonal affective disorder). Right now, daylight savings hasn’t ended so I am waking up in the dark, and in Chicago it’s been overcast for two days now and looking to stay that way. So I am BLEAK. Better since coffee and vitamin D pill and walking the dog, but still pretty bleak. Ask me happy things!
