A few of us were saying recently how nice we find it to watch Shahrukh interview videos, because he speaks so well and says such nice things. And so I have pulled together a fairly random collection of what I could find on youtube. Feel free to share your favorites in the comments.
I think I’ve referred to this in the past, but I’m not sure I’ve ever put up an actual picture. I’m not kidding when I say I have an actual alter to Shahrukh in my apartment.
Well, I got no sleep, and it is overcast today, and I am very much looking forward to finishing work, going home, leaving again, going to a movie, and then falling into bed for about 20 hours. In the meantime, to keep me going, I am going to post the silliest SRK Photoshoot Photos I can find. And please feel free to post more in the comments if you can find them. Why over think it, you know? I’m not coming up with a theme or anything like that, I’m just saying out of all the candid photos I can find, these are the ones I like best. Feel free to disagree and post your own suggestions in the comments. Or to skip this post entirely if you can’t stand his face.
I’m not talking about, like, hair clippings. I have never had any luck finding stuff like that. But there is plenty of other mass produced weirdness out there.
Gender is a construct, not a reality. Therefore, Shahrukh Khan, a man, can also have feminine aspects. And those aspects can be a blessing and a wonderful thing to be celebrated.
I know he is already celebrating, but now it is after midnight in America, so it is time for my celebration to start.
Shahrukh month is over, so sad. But I am throwing a little after party next Friday, finally reviewing Main Hoon Na.
It just showed up on Netflix, it’s a nice movie, I need more people to know how amazing Fawad Khan is. So, Sunday ReRun! I may even re-write the review a little to make it more detailed.
And the grand day is finally here! In India. Crowds outside the gate, small family party inside, very different from my last birthday.
This is inspired largely by the first two episodes of this season of Koffee with Karan, both of which put together two stars (Deepika and Alia and Ranveer and Akshay) who never co-starred together and aren’t known as best friends, and yet had surprising connections.
As almost always, my sister did a Shahrukh themed problem set for her math class in honor of his birthday. And now I will share it with you, to give you all painful math class flashbacks, and make you wish you were in her class.
Our last discussion post! So sad! Let’s see if we can bring the same excitement and rigor to the usual weekly Monday/Wednesday discussions after this is all over! Although I know it is hard when they aren’t Shahrukh based.
What with the Shahrukh Extravaganza, I haven’t celebrated Aish before this year. But now I’ve got time, why not! I’ll celebrate the part of her I like best, her song sequences.
Well, I’ve hurt Shahrukh by not doing a full real Shahrukh Month celebration, and now he is posting posters right after I get off twitter and go to work. I’m sorry Shahrukh!!!! I still love you! Anyway, I will try to make up for it by giving this poster it’s very own post.
Our last Shahrukh Month Review! So SAD!!!! There is still Jab Harry Met Sejal Day to look forward to on Sunday, but that won’t be a “new” movie to the blog. Oh well, there’s always the much less important holiday seasons of Diwali and Christmas to look forward to once Shahrukh Month is over.
Fun fun! Dog Hazel had three costumes, two cute and one scary. And I had one, which turned out unexpectedly sexy. No party this year, I just dressed us up and took photos for fun.
I almost put up a post just for Kedarnath yesterday, but patience was rewarded and today there are two other trailers to go along with it.
Happy Wednesday! I can’t believe I’m not even halfway through this week. I think either we need to lose a whole bunch of clients or my boss has to hire another person to help me. Thank goodness I have Shahrukh’s Birthday to look forward to on Friday and Jab Harry Met Sejal Day on Sunday.

I just had my usual agonizing ten minutes of deep moral complexity when deciding what milk to buy, and I thought I would walk you all through it so you know that I’m not just insane about overthinking movies, it’s my whole life.
Today was already a crazy day at work, and then the fire alarm went off and made it crazier. So there is no way I will be able to write a substantive post today (especially since I still have to write tomorrow’s K3G review) and instead I am just going to repost some old Halloween content.
