Happy Wednesday! I’m trying something new this week, this is supposed to be the post where we share things that don’t fit in anywhere else, and it just occurred to me that I should have a “listening” section for the songs you are enjoying right now.
Happy Saturday! I am off taking a pier out of a lake in 50 degree weather after only a few hours of sleep because I had to stay up late and write my Sui Dhaaga reviews. Good times!
For those of you who care about Dog Hazel. Everyone else can just skip this post.
This is one of those “here’s what’s happening in my life and also dog pictures” kind of posts. Feel free to ignore, it’s just a very busy day for me so it is easier to put up a post like this than a thinky post. Oh, and it ends with my three most energizing songs, in case you are also laboring hard and need an energy boost.
Well, yesterday was exhausting. But I have now once again achieved car ownership, which means reviews of new movies can return (yaaay!). If that’s all you care about, you can move on from this post comforted in the knowledge that I can review Hindi movies opening night again. If you want more details, read on and I will tell aaaalllllll about it. With songs interspersed as usual.
This is just a quick Life Update to hold you until I am back home with my life moderately under control and can actual write new interesting content. But hey, at least I did my traditional Independence Day blast of posts yesterday!
This is one of those traditional “blog” style posts, where I talk about my life in an amusing way, instead of one of the more “Indian film news and analysis website” posts, where I am all professional and stuff. Be warned!
My sister is visiting, and has volunteered to make Dog Hazel a little sweater for the winter. Knitting takes time, so now is the time to pick the pattern so it can be ready by chilly weather. Dog Hazel has terrible fur, is already cold just with air conditioning, so she definitely is going to need SOMETHING. But what?
Happy Wednesday!!! Halfway through the week, my sister is in town this weekend, I am excited! What’s going on with you?
Well, I just spent the past 4 hours working flat out to finish laundry. And Dog Hazel supervised. She was NOT helpful.
I’ve got a church thing that’s blowing up a little bit, and I should be calling people and asking them for money for my job, and I also should be working on my Monday Malayalam review, but I don’t want to do any of that! I want to look at pictures of Dog Hazel. And if you feel the same way, this is the post for you. Or, you can go look at the last post and comment over there. The point is, I need procrastination buddies!
This was a looooooooooong weekend. I managed to find the energy to do my usual Sunday post, and I am quite proud of this week’s story (read it here!), but now I am too tired to think of anything new and thought provoking to write. So I am watching a fun Telugu movie and watching Dog Hazel sleep, because she is tired too.
Happy Wednesday! Halfway through the week! A short week for me, because I get to take Friday off to help my parents prepare for a massive house party (you will be hearing more about this).
This is one of those gossipy personal posts, ignore if you don’t care. But I had a surprisingly good day yesterday, followed by a surprisingly bad day today, and I need to brag/vent!
Happy Saturday! I am pre-scheduling this because I am going to sleep in! And then go see Soorma. And then take a nap. The perfect day.
New video day! So you can all admire how nice my braid looks. My sister bought me the same hairbrush she uses, and it is sooooooo much better. Brushing and braiding only takes half an hour now instead of an hour. Oh, and Dog Hazel is there at the beginning, and then got bored and walked away to play with her wibble-wobble.
I know there is a small subset of you that enjoy these little doggie updates, and I am here to serve! Also, my parents just sent me an ADORABLE photo (the last one) and I can’t resist sharing it. Because I have become That Woman.
Happy 5th! I’m right now driving from the vacation house to work directly, which means I have to bring Dog Hazel to work with me. But it’s okay, because all my coworkers are in love with her and my boss is out of town. This is Wednesday Watching a day late, because yesterday was a holiday.
Just wanted to do a fun post to cheer me up after being so mean and angry about the Dabangg show. And also, Dog Hazel was BAD and I will punish her through public shame. Like those mothers who put their kids’ shame photos on Facebook, except considerably less horrible.
Happy Day I See Salman! I have a new outfit plan (because of the goshawful cold and drizzly weather), and a new schedule for the day (based on checking the time on the tickets and the estimated travel time). I’m ready!
Happy Wednesday! I am almost recovered from vacation, but the dog still isn’t. Anyway, I’m physically back even if I am still not mentally. Let’s talk!
