Happy Christmas Eve!  Like many households, we are celebrating with the annual Fight Over Whether Or Not to Go to Midnight Services.  It’s so cold!  And so late!  Is candlelight carol singing really worth it?  Or do we split the difference and either drive instead of walking, or go to the cheating 10:30pm service?  At least it gives us a nice topic of conversation for the next 12 hours

Procrastinatrix said she wanted a review of the totally silly Christmas play my sister and I just saw (while wearing matching Christmas sweatshirts!). It’s essentially Pride and Prejudice fanfic, but well-written fanfic. So good in fact that I kind of want to end by suggesting a minor rewrite and casting for the Indian version.

Zero Review (SPOILERS): TOO MUCH PLOT!!!!

First, most importantly, ANGIE! And all other Maddy Fans! Maddy is in it for about 15 minutes cumulatively and all he does is stand there looking solid and sensitive in glasses with shaggy hair. Barely has a character. But looks quite good. Everyone else: this movie was a disappointment, but probably still more enjoyable if you go in fresh than if you go in SPOILED. This review is for those who absolutely cannot see it in theaters, or who have already seen it and want to discuss.

What is Up With the Manikarnika Trailer?

This film continues to be weird and rough and broken. And yet, it is still supposed to release in a month! Headline is, there was a Grand Trailer Launch about 5 hours ago, press and stars and all, and then the trailer hit youtube and industry folks tweeted it. And then the trailer was pulled from youtube by the studio and is no longer available and no one knows why. What the heck????
