Discussion Post: 10 Days of Christmas Movies! What Family Love Warmth Movies Should I Include?

Rani Week ends on Sunday, which is also exactly 10 days before Christmas. And I think what I would like to do is 10 days of Christmas-y movies, but I need help thinking of them! So I am throwing it out to all of you. And because I really REALLY need help, I am sticking this post to the homepage until I have enough movie ideas.

Rani Week: Talaash! Rani and Aamir’s Last Great Collaberation

Rani is technically just a supporting character, but her role is the secret motive and power and goal of the hero. It’s a fascinating kind of role, she has to be isolated from the rest of the plot, but at the same time not isolated, since her reactions drive Aamir in everything he does for the rest of the plot. It’s her sadness, happiness, strength, sorrow, and so on, that make Aamir angry, confused, dedicated and so on.

News Round-Up: Pick Your Most Wanted YRF Film, Brahmastra Delayed Again (SHOCKING!), and Ayushmann in a Dharma Production

Monday Morning Questions: What Do You Want to Ask Me Rani Mukherjee Week?

Happy Monday! Somehow this week has become my busiest stretch of the holiday season (thus the Rani Mukherjee schedule), family in town Tuesday through Saturday plus two events I really want to go to on Monday and Sunday, and then next Monday is the annual white elephant quilting party and gift exchange (the biggest event of my holiday season for the past 8 years), so this ends up being 8 straight days of stuff. Anyway, ask me questions and distract me!

Silly Sunday: Historic Films I Want to See, Mohenjo Daro Rewritten, Nur Jahan and Jahinger with Shahrukh and Tabu, and Edwina and Nehru in a Mini-Series

Grand finale of Historic Films week! The Historic films I have written which are so much better than the historic films people in Hindi cinema are actually making. I didn’t get around to watching Panipat, but really, just read this instead of looking for a review of that.
