I watched it! My goodness this is a sunny silly show. I highly recommend it if you are interested in watching a sunny silly show that has more of a “plotline” than the first season (thank goodness). Oh, and I’m extra proud of myself because I gave myself a deadline of Saturday to finish, and I have finished and reviewed today!

Apparently, this is going to be a story again. So I will try to address it again. The first time I tried, I got so much anger in the comments (by Priyanka defenders who misread it as the strawman version below) that I had to pull down the post, but maybe it will be better now. Mostly because I will try to be more clear in my writing.
On Friday I did a “TGIF” of happy couples, and then I realized that I was kind of skipping to the end, posting the couples without defining “happy” before. And I also find it legitimately fascinating how tricky the public versus private requirements of Hindi film industry marriages are.
First, if you are in a grumpy “I hate romance and love and couples!” mood, that is your right, and you should go watch Anjaam and look at yesterday’s “men in wet shirts” post. But if your mood is more “falala, happiness and flowers and my boyfriend/husband is so awesome!”, then this will just serve to increase that feeling. Or, alternatively, if you are in a sort of miserable “there are no happy couples or true love in the world” vibe, this will convince you that is false. Also, I have a clear and declared winner for the Best Couple Award, you will have to convince me out of it.
Happy 2 Days to Shahrukh’s birthday! Yesterday was his 3 favorite people in his life, today is my 2 favorite people in his life.
My goodness October is busy! And I suppose it is even more busy in the actual Khan household, with Gauri’s birthday and then the anniversary and then Shahrukh’s birthday. Anyway, thanks to helpful reminders from the comments, I am throwing up a last minute anniversary post for them. And since they are both incredibly photogenic, it’s just a bunch of pictures. And yes, this is in addition to the Birthday Countdown post I already put up.
I tried to come up with something moderately meaningful for today, I really did. And then I gave up and decided to go with 8 coffee variations.
Happy 24 days to SRK Day!!!!! Let’s look at 24 of his non-film works, his TV ads. Such fun for those of us not in India who never get to see them! Apologies to those in India who are probably tired of them.

This is an exhausting weekend! I have my conference, and then Rekhaji’s birthday, and then Amitabh’s birthday, and also Dussehra. You are going to get to sick of event posts! So I am just going to do a quick fun one for Milkha and Gauri.
Already put up a post about the trailers that are out today, but there were a couple of interesting news stories today, and one really cute picture, so I just have to talk about them too!
