I don’t know what was up this winter, but everyone I know got sick! I got sick twice, and like really really sick, not just “a little tickle in the throat” sick. And among my friends I heard everything from bronchitis to walking pneumonia. But it is supposed to be over now! Right? Because it is officially Spring? And to celebrate, lets have one last orgy of Vitamin C!

International Women’s Day is supposed to be about men respecting women. Doesn’t always work, of course, but that’s the idea. Datablue pointed out that I completely forgot Hrithik in my last week’s “men in uniform” TGIF post. I was all set to remedy that, when I remembered his birthday was coming up! What could be a better gift to us all in honor of the occasion than an entirely Hrithik TGIF post?
I’m with holding judgement on Rangoon as a whole, but I am whole-heartedly behind Shahid Kapoor in a WWII uniform! We already got a hint of Shahid in uniform in Mausam, but not nearly enough. And not enough of men in uniform in general. More uniformed heroes! That’s what I say.

I’m liking this, having permission on Friday to just put up a super silly post to start the weekend off with a laugh. And this one, like the last one, was suggested by a conversation with a commentator. Moimeme mentioned a collection of men in shorts pictures, which seemed like a brilliant collection to have!
This isn’t strange, right? It’s not like I am putting up photos of my own father and saying they are attractive. I am just putting up photos of other fathers with their children.
This came up from a discussion I had in the comments back on Monday with the commentator “Sal” about Kunal Kapoor. And I thought “Heck, I bet I can get another silly Friday post out of this! And one that will leave you lots to discuss and consider over the weekend!” Because I KNOW you are not all going to agree with me on all of these.
Right after I put up my post about how everyone finds spiritual sustenance in different places, I got an urgent message from a friend saying she needed photos of sexy Indian men IMMEDIATELY! Which kind of proves my point. And also suggested another post idea.
It’s Friday, I had a long week (that Wednesday Cubs game!!!), so my friend and I just spent two hours working on a very very silly personal challenge together. An attempt to answer the question “What flavor/food best encapsulates the feeling of certain movie star’s sexiness?” I did the men and she did the women. (also, she’s a really cool Burlesque dancer under the name “Rosemary Maybe“, just in case she ever comes to your town, you should check her out!)
