Yaaay, my first new Shahrukh review for Shahrukh month!!! I love Koyla, I think it is a secretly really deep film with statements on what is marriage and what is choice and so on. And on top of that, is a totally ridiculous and entertaining action movie. Best of everything!
Everyone said I should celebrate Shahrukh Month however I wanted, and today I feel like telling stories. Just little moments that help build up the whole picture of my relationship with him (a one-sided relationship, but still a true one).
I put up a post a week or so back asking if I should celebrate this year, and the answer was a resounding “you do whatever makes you happy”. So, okay! I will!

Well, this is ridiculous. In the course of one week, the 3 major singers of Hindi film were all born. I guess if we are looking for the next big thing, the key is to check for an end of July/beginning of August birthday.
Every August 2nd, Amitabh and his fans celebrate his “second” birthday, the day he came back to life after dying. So it is also a good time for me to repost my post explaining what that was all about and what happened.
Wow, end of July is a good time for singers to be born! Sonu and then Rafi. Sonu I was at least able to make a start at listing all his important songs, Rafi I can’t even attempt that challenge. So don’t look at this as a comprehensive list, just a starting point.

Sorry sorry sorry! Yesterday just completely wiped me out (22 guests is too many guests, especially when one of them has severe dementia and 4 of them are small children). So I literally have not left my bed all day, and every time I try to think straight and come up with a brilliant fanfic, it all just sort of floats away from me. There is another big birthday today, but I am following a “if you can’t say anything nice” policy and ignoring it. But that means Sukhwinder gets a day all to himself! And he deserves it, he has worked very hard for a very long time.
