Valentine’s Week of Sex TGIF: Which Classic Actress Image is the Sexiest?

Objectifying women is wrong. BUT! If an entire image is carefully crafted, with the full participation of the model, to evoke sexuality, they we aren’t objectifying, we are talking about Art. You’ll see, these aren’t like “oo, I can see her breast” photos, these are classic elaborate really beautiful images. But which is the BEST?

Valentine’s Week of Sex Thought Post: A Woman’s Virginity, What is it in Indian Film?

Oh boy, a Thought Post! These are the posts where I talk a bit too much to call it a “Discussion Post”, but a bit too little to call it a “101”. It’s just a bunch of thoughts, and then you can leapfrog off of it.

Valentine’s Week of Sex: Namukku Parkkan Munthirithoppukal

This is a movie that is all about sex, without actually having a sex scene. Sex fantasies, sex experimentation, and sexual violence (nothing explicitly shown, but discussed and treated seriously by the plot). And it is also a movie about love and redemption and freedom. It’s just lovely.

Valentine’s Week of Sex Ranking Post: Of the Films Where Hrithik Had/Will Have Sex, Rank from Best to Worst

I already did this for Shahrukh, and I suspect fewer people will care about Hrithik than SRK. But lets see! And this time I am including movies where he doesn’t actually have sex on screen but will have sex shortly after the film ends.

Valentine’s Week of Sex Ranking Post: Of the Films Where Shahrukh Had Sex, Rank Them in Order From Best to Worst Sex

A vital question for our time. I was going to do a general “hottest sex scene in films where they had sex” ranking post, but the list got too long, so I am breaking it down by actor.

Valentine’s Week of Sex: Kabhi Kabhi Review 2! What Does Yash Chopra Think Makes Good Sex?

This is a movie with a lot of layers, consideration of parent and child relationships, and changing times, and the generation gap. But it is also about sex, and what makes good sex and bad sex, and why that matters in a relationship.

Valentine’s Week of Sex: Kabhi Kabhi Review 1! The Movie that is All About Sex Without Being About Sex

Happy Kabhi Kabhi day! This is my old review, with one paragraph added, but I think I have to do a second review later today specifically about what sex means in this movie because I think Yashji had a very particular reason for showing different interactions between the 5 couples.

Valentine’s Week of Sex Competition Post! Name Twins Compete for Sexiest Crown!

No Shahrukh! He would skew the results. Instead, I am putting a bunch of non-SRKs up against each other in a series of matched pairs. Good news is, you don’t need to have heard of any of these people before!!!!! Just look at the photos and make a snap judgement. Like picking out a bride.

Valentine’s Week of Sex FanFic Post: Sex Scenes for Ohm Shaanti Oshaana, Aiyyaa, Hasee Toh Phasee, Daawat E Ishq

Another productive and useful post! Or alternatively, a fun post I will enjoy writing even if no one enjoys reading it. I tried to imagine how some of our favorite couples would have handled their “first night”.

Valentine’s Week of Sex: Guddu, Shahrukh and Manisha in a Sex Cave

This is such a good-bad movie! Highly recommend it for your next movie night with a group of raunchy trashy friends. Not for your movie night with your classy sophisticated smart people friends, watch something else for that. Kind of interesting that Manisha and Shahrukh were only in two movies together, and one of them is arguably the best movie Shahrukh ever made and the other is arguably the worst.

Valentine’s Week of Sex: Humare Dil Aapke Paas Hai, a Cheerful Family Friendly Rape Romance with No Sex

This is “sex week”, and this movie fits the theme because it is so extremely NOT about sex. In a good way. It’s a movie about how sex is a fact of life, but it is also something you can just choose not to have in your life and that is okay too. I mean, that’s not officially what it is about, officially it is about rape and societal judgement, but it’s also about a rape survivor going on to have a totally chaste romance. Consider that your “trigger warning”, but it’s also a pretty well-known plot twist to this film, so it’s not a spoiler exactly. Speaking of spoils, this is a very 2000s movie so it won’t be for all of you. If you aren’t planning to watch it, please spoil yourself! The plot is insane!!!

Queens of Sex Competition: Rani Versus Vidya, Who is Better at Sex on Screen?

This is so HARD! They both have a natural joyful quality on screen that is so much more sexual than air brushed and perfect actresses. And they are both really good actresses who lose themselves in the moment and make you believe they are real people feeling real things. But which is better?
