Sunday ReRun Announcement! Jaan-E-Mann! Super Late So I Don’t Expect Most of You to Watch It But Who Cares It’s December!
Oops, totally forgot to schedule something for this Sunday. So you all have only a little bit of time to watch the movie in advance, if you want to. Or of course you can watch it later and just swing back to the review once you do. Anyway, it doesn’t really matter, because this is a review of a movie I love love love and I am putting it up as a gift for me me me.

It’s the annual (and sometimes other random times in the year) treat!!!!! Men in Beards! For Christmas! Like SANTA!!! Yes, I know it isn’t Christmas yet, but I just barely managed to finish my Delhi 6 review at work and I still have to do blechy end of month work stuff today, so you are going to have to be happy with a TGIF rerun (although there’s a couple new photos). Well, huh. This is a weird thing. A legitimate real paid writer took one of my ideas and put in a little hyperlink to it and used it in their legitimate paid writing, and then Karan Johar re-tweeted and appreciated it. So, a compliment? But also a bit of “I wish I could get paid for my ideas”. Oh well.

I finally saw Robot! I think it might be one of those movies that you miss out too much if you don’t watch it at the exact right moment. Watching it now, just a few years later, the special effects seem dated, the song sequences not so great, and even Rajni Sir’s performance is not as good as it could be. Remember, I am coming off of seeing him in Kabali, where he not only played his age, he played a layered real complicated version of himself. I mean, this performance is great, the best part of the movie for sure, but I kept thinking “why are you doing this when I know you could do so much better?”

I briefly considered doing unmarried mothers in honor of Mary, but then I decided to think small instead and use the random small items of Christmas as jumping off points for story ideas.
