Still watching Hart of Dixie which does really good love triangles, and it has inspired me to try and see what I can come up with as potential Indian film triangles. Not easy ones where it’s a choice between love and duty, but ones where there are two viable “love” options.

I’m Feeling Rumply! Let’s Have a Post of Non-Rumply Things
Blegh, weird sort of upsy-downsy day. Nothing really wrong-wrong, just rumpled feeling, you know? So I am going to medicate myself with non-rumply things.
Continue readingHrithik Versus Aamir Post
I have a terrible sickness where I can’t let anyone around me be sad. It’s horrible! And it results in me doing silly things like a post specifically designed to cheer up one particular reader.
Continue reading2010s Post: Best/Worst Aamir Khan Film Poll Post!
Oh boy! Another actor filmography to list out for the whoooooooooooole decade! And this should be a fun one to pick, because Aamir films tend to be either “I love them” or “I hate them”.
Continue reading2010s Award: Hottest Old Man of the Decade, Shahrukh or Hrithik or Anil?
You know who’s hot? Men who act their age. You know what’s NOT hot? Men who dye their hair and wear cool clothes and jump around like they are half their age. But, in the 2010s, who were the HOTTEST old men?
Continue readingRani Week: Talaash! Rani and Aamir’s Last Great Collaberation
Rani is technically just a supporting character, but her role is the secret motive and power and goal of the hero. It’s a fascinating kind of role, she has to be isolated from the rest of the plot, but at the same time not isolated, since her reactions drive Aamir in everything he does for the rest of the plot. It’s her sadness, happiness, strength, sorrow, and so on, that make Aamir angry, confused, dedicated and so on.
Continue readingRani Week: Ghulam! Rani’s First Movie, and a Really Really Good Film
I really love this movie. It was one of the early films I saw, one of the first movies I watched where I was told “this is an actual good movie”. And it is! It is an actual good movie! Not just a fun romance with something deep down below, but deep straight through.
Continue readingRani Week! Rank Her Sexiest Songs With Aamir
This was going to be a post of “Rani’s sexiest songs”, but she has been in WAY too many sexy songs. So instead I am limiting to Rani-Aamir only, and will probably do Rani-Shahrukh and Rani-Abhishek and Rani-Everyone Else so on later.
Continue reading2009 Week: 3 Idiots, the Movie That Changed Everything
Well, I put off writing this post as long as possible. Because this movie just has so much that goes into it, it’s hard to even figure out where to start.
Continue readingNews Round-Up: Everyone’s Working, and Ranbir Has an Owey
Nothing really worth deep analysis today, but lots of stuff to just report on and let you all react. Also, we get to make fun of Ranbir.
Continue readingFriday Classics: Hum Hain Rahe Pyar Ki, Playing House with Juhi and Aamir
My God is this a cute movie! It’s the kind of movie that you just want to pinch it’s cheeks and toss it in the air and dress in novelty clothing. SO CUTE!
Continue readingHappy Juhi Day! Is Tum Mere Ho The Worst Movie She Made? And if So, Why Do I Still Love It?
Happy Juhi Day! This review was original Aamir focused, but there’s lots of Juhi in there too. And oh my gosh is this movie fun to watch!
Continue readingWhy Does Akshay Look Weird in This Video? And I Have a Better Way to Use the Feather Theme for Aamir!!!
I’m having a silly silly day. It’s overcast again, which makes me depressed and weird, plus I didn’t get any sleep, plus the people of the world just insist on doing silly things today! It’s not my fault, the celebrities are making me do this!
Continue readingTwo Movies I Don’t Care About, WHY Aamir??? And WHY Madhavan???
Why do actors I like keep making movies I have no interest in? Why doesn’t the world listen to me and dance to my tunes at all times?
Continue readingMonth of SRK: In Honor of War, 30 Gayest Moments of SRK
This will either turn out to be way too many on this list, or way too few. I really have no idea until I get started! Oh, and it’s definitely not a countdown, that would be impossible. These are all tied in my heart.
Continue readingTemperatures of Men: Is Burning Hrithik Better Than Cool? What About Hot Prabhas Versus Warm?
I’m still sick. Not super super sick, just not always spelling the worlds I mean to say correctly kind of sick. So, let’s not overburden Margaret’s brain! Let’s do a totally brainless post.
Continue readingSilly Sunday! For Pride! Harsh Kapoor and Harsh Rane, Ranveer-Ranbir-Dips Love Triangle, Rajkummar-John-Vidya-Kareena Same Sex Quadrangle, Prithviraj-Tovino Village Romance, Aamir-John Abraham Long Time Lovers, and Arjun-Shahrukh (my favorite!)
Okay, I’m gonna be lazy and just use the stuff that came up in the comments of the discussion post asking for topics early this week.
Continue readingTGIF: For Pride, The Best Queer Images of Indian Film (Obviously, Shahrukh is Best Daddy)
“Queer”= anything non-gender normative. Can be drag, can be transexuals/Hijras, can be a male-male couple, can be a female-female couple, whatever! And to help, I called on my friend who is a pansexual drag queen with a degree in gender studies currently working at a Queer history museum. Just so you can relax, all of these photos were approved by a qualified expert.
Continue readingTGIF: Sexy Librarians! A Massive Marvel-esque Team-Up of the Sexiest Glasses Wearers in India!
My friend who is in library school has hit an academic stumbling block, so to encourage her I thought I should do a theme post. Sexy Librarians!
Continue readingBharat Trailer and the Three Khans Playdates
Another Bharat song! Is this the last one? I think it’s the last one. Or maybe not? We’ve still got 3 weeks left, what else are they going to do if there are no more songs? Oh, and there is a super super cute news story going around about the Khans that just makes me happy and I want it to be true.
Continue readingFriday Classics: Ghulam, No One is Past Hope of Redemption
I really love this movie. It was one of the early films I saw, one of the first movies I watched where I was told “this is an actual good movie”. And it is! It is an actual good movie! Not just a fun romance with something deep down below, but deep straight through.
Continue readingNew Bharat Song! And Bonus Aamir and a Little Girl
Happy May Day! Two laboring videos put up in honor of it, Salman and Kat’s interesting working love story, and Aamir making a tiny little girl dig dishes. Worst Babysitter EVER!
Continue readingI Will Now Fix Aamir Khan’s Career: He Should Remake Tootsie and Make Fun of Himself
This is really Catherine’s idea, at least she is the one who put it together for me that Dustin Hoffman and Aamir Khan have similar reputations as nice guys who take their acting way way WAY too seriously. Dustin Hoffman made Tootsie partly to make fun of that about himself, and Aamir really needs to do the same thing.
Continue readingTGIF: Stars as Easter Eggs in the Tall Grass
I wanted to do stars dressed as bunny rabbits, but there are shockingly few images of that. So instead I will settle for stars dropped around the grass like little Easter eggs. Can you find them all????
Continue readingSaturday Small Talk: Talk Amongst Yourselves While I Renew My Driver’s License
Happy Saturday! I get to spend the morning waiting in line and doing paperwork. I’m honestly a little excited because I have a whole bag of books and I don’t have to feel guilty for reading, because I’m still doing something productive (waiting in line).
