I just finished my three part Yash Chopra post, and then Ranbir Kapoor pops up, and now Lata! Gah! Stop being born, people! Anyway, Lata will have to be content with 16 reasons I love her for the 16 notes in the Indian scale. I’m not doing another 80+ after I just did it for Yashji.
Happy Birthday Ranbir! I’m not giving you 33 reasons, because you haven’t been in enough movies for me to come up with them! Plus, I am worn out after my 84 for Yash Chopra. But, I will give you 12! And maybe, if Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is really good, you will earn 34 for next year.

Totally missed this holiday! And it’s almost as much fun to find songs for as International day of Dance! I think I’m going to just lean hard into the Shanti theme to start with, maybe I’ll try to do something more meaningful next year. Also, maybe next year I will remember on the actual day.
The Shivaay love song just came out. And, thank goodness, I think it explains what’s going on with one of the three very very young heroines. And possibly one of the other ones as well.

Tum Bin 2? Really? Like, the Priyanshu Chatterjee movie? Rock On 2, I can kind of understand, because it’s part of Farhan’s whole play acting self-indulgence thing. But Tum Bin gets a sequel?
I know this is a huge holiday and there most be hundreds of songs about it. But I’ve only been watching Malayalam films for less than a year, so I know very very few of them. Forgive me! And feel free to mention some better ones in the comments.
