I never get much comments on my birthday posts, but this one I have hopes! I am picking, maximum, only 50 songs. Which means I am obviously going to be leaving brilliance out. You get to point out the important things I missed in the comments!
Happy Birthday Dips! Sorry I am so late, early January is a bear to deal with. But I am taking a break from the make-up-for-the-holidays rush of work at work, and the cleaning of the apartment and putting away of presents at home, in order to write this post. Because I love you, 32 times over.
1 through 40 are important too, but these are my top twelve. (UPDATE: These are mostly the same as in the last two years, with a few tweaks. And of course a new one added!)
So, earlier today, I posted the first 20 reasons I love Salman Khan (not as much as I love Shahrukh, but still quite a bit). Here are another 20, the same 20 as the last 2 years, because I still love him the same.
I am a Shahrukh person, not an Aamir or a Salman person. But I can still appreciate not-Shahrukh stars for the wonderful people they are, even if that person is not my particular person. And Salman is wonderful. Which is what I have said for 3 years running now, and it is still true.
Wait, did you think in all the preparation for Salman I would have forgotten him? Never! Oh, and also Christmas. But even Jesus’ birthday can’t distract me from celebrating Anil! 58 today, and I am doing 25 reasons I love him, for the age he was when he got married. This is a re-posted post, but I don’t have time for a new one because I have to run around and go to Tiger Zinda Hai with my family (I think Salman would approve of both seeing his new movie and the family time). And anyway, I don’t think it is possible to improve on the post I did for his birthday last year.

Anyway, I’m not going to call you out, but you mentioned in passing your birthday over two months ago, and I immediately wrote and scheduled this post for today as a special treat. Feel free to identify yourself in the comments if you want! (you mentioned your birthday more recently, but I want credit for figuring it out and scheduling this post ages ago before you came right out and said it!)
NOT my best friend!!!! She is pushing for that commitment, but I am holding film against it, because that is the kiss of death. Once you say “best friend”, the relationship ends immediately (in my experience). Like when celebrity couples get tattoos of each other (Saif and Kareena excepted). But I will say “closest friend”. And, weirdly, she has the exact same birthday as my father. Which creates a little testing of loyalties every year as I try to schedule them around each other. Also Mickey Mouse, but I never really do anything to celebrate him, so it doesn’t really effect my plans.
It’s my father’s birthday! 65, which I guess means I should do something very very big. Oh well, he’s getting a nice little thing from me and my sister and there is a family dinner planned, that should be good enough. And this post!
I should be able to scrape up a dozen, right? I didn’t bother last year, but then last year I hadn’t seen Daawat-E-Ishq yet.
I feel bad only giving her a dozen, but on the other hand I am also taking time from visiting my sister to write this post, and using my sister’s stupid mac computer to do it (the mouse only has one button! What is this MADNESS!), so that should count for something. Oh well, next year I will give her 2 dozen reasons to make up for it.
Boy, after not much happening in October, the birthdays are coming fast and furious in November! Anyway, I can’t ignore Tabu!

Aish is not my favorite actress ever, or my favorite public persona person.
