Okay, it’s technically Monday. I am putting this up now! I saw the movie Friday and I’ve been holding off just so I could stay sort of on schedule. Anyway, there is another review coming later, the SPOILERS one.
I went off into The World today, and therefore wasn’t able to sit at home and type and type and type, and you had to make do with one very very long Silly Sunday post instead of anything more than that. And I am trying very hard to feel like I accomplished useful things in The World, instead of feeling bad because I didn’t write my usual 10,000 words a day.
I spent the day roasting 5 pumpkins. Tomorrow I turn them into food, I am thinking pumpkin muffins first, pie later (after I get a chance to buy lard for the crust). Anyway, since I didn’t have time to write a substantive post, I am throwing up another silly songs post to represent pumpkins.
Happy Saturday! I am cooking cooking cooking (new stove is hear and I have 5 pumpkins!), and also running back and forth to the movie theater, so no time for a real deep post. But at least I can throw up a news post!

This is a very very silly post. But it’s the end of the week, I am almost done with my exhausting SRK celebrations, it’s time to be silly!
Extra news post this week, because there was some interesting stuff, and also I felt like we needed something to talk about besides Shahrukh.
Ha! I thought of something clever! Still just a silly post, but at least with a semi-clever theme. And I did both stills and videos, so that’s something new.
Kind of an odd month. A ton of stuff added, but it all kind of feels like the bottom of the barrel stuff, nothing really “must watch”. (Accessbollywood.net does the real work of keeping this list updated, you should definitely absolutely subscribe to them for your day to day updates.)
Be warned, the video quality is VERY VERY POOR. My radiators turned on, which created a persistent hiss in the background. I had to turn on a light because it was so overcast outside which gave a very odd and very unflattering light to it. But at least my voice is good and strong, so you can always hear me.
My goodness October is busy! And I suppose it is even more busy in the actual Khan household, with Gauri’s birthday and then the anniversary and then Shahrukh’s birthday. Anyway, thanks to helpful reminders from the comments, I am throwing up a last minute anniversary post for them. And since they are both incredibly photogenic, it’s just a bunch of pictures. And yes, this is in addition to the Birthday Countdown post I already put up.
I tried to come up with something moderately meaningful for today, I really did. And then I gave up and decided to go with 8 coffee variations.
Happy Wednesday! Again, your comment doesn’t have to be SRK related, that’s just a catchy headline. My reading/watching/thinking choices are in fact entirely non-SRK. Well, almost entirely. I’m still thinking about him.
That isn’t really a fair title, it isn’t exactly Ghajini. It is a lot more than that, taking all of the “serious” versions of memory disorder films and making them into a joke.
It’s his birthday month, and these are 9 reasons I love him, so this is not going to be a very critical post. Obviously. But if you love Shahrukh like I do, it may put some things into words that you have been wanting to say.
Well this was fun! A really really good romance, from back when Mohanlal was young and charming (versus now when he is old and charming). A good romance that took a progressively darker tone as it went on, but still somehow got through to a satisfying ending.
A light one after I got sucked in to two posts yesterday. He jokes sometimes about how he is only working with 5 expressions, but we all know that is a joke, he is really a wonderful actor. Although he also knows how to use his face in certain set ways that the fans love. Happy Monday! I get to have coffee today! I go off it over the weekend, and it’s the one thing that makes it kind of exciting to get to Monday morning when I have to go to work. Anyway, I am all caffeinated and ready to discuss stuff!
Last year I did only one dozen reasons, but now I am going to challenge myself and try to find two dozen!!! And not just Bahubali related reasons either.

Two movie weekend! Secret Superstar Friday night, Golmaal Saturday afternoon. And it was So Much Fun!!!! Not a great movie, not by any means, but a very fun silly movie. I liked it, the two young men sitting behind me liked it, the big family sitting in front of me liked it, and the little boy of the family really really liked it.
This is a total repost from last year, but on the other hand I had to write two Secret Superstar reviews, and yesterday’s post was loooooooooooong and tomorrow’s post is even longer, so indulge me with a nice little one! 12 things that make me happy about Shahrukh.
