An actress who just a few years ago I wouldn’t have cared about, but somehow just recently she has become worthy of a birthday post. She really is the best part of a surprisingly large number of films!
Not very different from last year, but I feel like that’s nice, for the last few days, to always have the same thing. Because when you get to the very most important things about a person, not much changes year by year.
This is a very practical post. I assume that now is the time we are all finalizing our plans for Thursday? Well, this can be a place to discuss options!
Ha! I thought of something clever! Still just a silly post, but at least with a semi-clever theme. And I did both stills and videos, so that’s something new.
Raveena! Not remembered as much today as some of the other 90s actresses, but still worth a dozen reasons to love her on her birthday.
I tried to come up with something moderately meaningful for today, I really did. And then I gave up and decided to go with 8 coffee variations.
It’s his birthday month, and these are 9 reasons I love him, so this is not going to be a very critical post. Obviously. But if you love Shahrukh like I do, it may put some things into words that you have been wanting to say.
A light one after I got sucked in to two posts yesterday. He jokes sometimes about how he is only working with 5 expressions, but we all know that is a joke, he is really a wonderful actor. Although he also knows how to use his face in certain set ways that the fans love. It’s October, and it’s the 13th post, let’s get spooky! And also sexy. And therefore Vampires!!!! 13 reasons Shahrukh might be a Vampire. Well, 7 reasons he could be, 6 reasons he probably isn’t.
Yesterday I did “top characters“. This is a post that pairs with it, top performances. But is different, characters were wonderful people imagined by the script writer who Shahrukh was lucky to play. These are characters that Shahrukh elevated through his performance. (part of this post is the same as last year, but most of it is new)
Just to be clear, this is not best performances. “Performances” would mean he brought something extra to the role. Which of course he did, but here I want to focus on characters, characters as written in the script, who would have been interesting no matter who played them.
You don’t mind that I am using this blog as a last minute homemade birthday gift tool, right? I mean, I got him a real present too, but it was kind of a small one, so I felt like he should have a post as well.
I was running out of ideas, so I asked around, and a friend of mine from Delhi said I HAD to do this idea. And I couldn’t resist! So, Shahrukh and the traditional 16 bridal adornments (Solah Shringaar).
I am possibly, maybe, beginning to overdose on Shahrukh love. Not totally, but I am at least ready to try making fun of him a little. In a loving way.
I know I already did a silly one yesterday, but I’ve got another looooooooong series of fanfics coming tomorrow, and I am worn out! So another easy silly one today. Outfits! Although I am going to try to actually rank them, so that will give you something fun to argue about in the comments.
It’s Amitabh’s Birthday!!!!! The second most glorious day of the filmic year (after November 2nd, I do have my priorities). And, of course, for Amitabh, I will be doing a full 75 reasons to love him. (this is an updated and reposted post from last year)
