Aish is not my favorite actress ever, or my favorite public persona person. But on her birthday, I am going to follow a “if you can’t say anything nice…” policy, and just focus on her dancing, which is incredible. Yaaaaaay! For the 1 day, the final day, here is the 1 way that Shahrukh makes me feel. And, okay, I’m going to go a bit over the top here, but I figure, if you’ve come with me this far, you feel the same way. Plus, I’m all caught up in the holiday spirit! And I already blew my idea for a post on not-so-scary songs that I just really like from bad horror movies back on Friday the 13th. Happy 2 Days to Shahrukh’s birthday! Yesterday was his 3 favorite people in his life, today is my 2 favorite people in his life.
My sister lives in Maine where, thanks to a massive record breaking windstorm, 64% of the state is now without power. And has been for 24 hours. While the electrical company focuses on getting power back to places like hospitals (spoiled hospitals!) and she shivers in front of her fireplace (this is why houses with fireplaces are the best!), I thought the least I could do is a songs post that she can read on her phone (no power for the internet router).
This was such an exhausting weekend. I saw Nivin’s new movie on Friday, then this on Saturday, then ran around for 9 hours on Sunday. I’m so glad that all I have this week is Ittefaq. Although I did enjoy this movie, and Nivin’s movie, it’s just a lot to squeeze in.

I just did a news post on Saturday, and yet there are already new stories out there! How does this keep happening? It’s like the news never stops or something.
Not very different from last year, but I feel like that’s nice, for the last few days, to always have the same thing. Because when you get to the very most important things about a person, not much changes year by year.
Once again, you don’t HAVE to ask me questions or anything related to Shahrukh’s birthday. Or Ittefaq. But you also can if you want.
Okay, it’s technically Monday. I am putting this up now! I saw the movie Friday and I’ve been holding off just so I could stay sort of on schedule. Anyway, there is another review coming later, the SPOILERS one.
I went off into The World today, and therefore wasn’t able to sit at home and type and type and type, and you had to make do with one very very long Silly Sunday post instead of anything more than that. And I am trying very hard to feel like I accomplished useful things in The World, instead of feeling bad because I didn’t write my usual 10,000 words a day.
Last Sunday of 31 days o’ SRK! Very sad. Although I am also kind of excited about being able to try out new non-SRK fanfic if I want next week. Anyway, for the final post, 4 real life stories that Shahrukh should play. And since it is just 4, I go into great great detail, unlike me very brief posts for some of the 11 last week.
I spent the day roasting 5 pumpkins. Tomorrow I turn them into food, I am thinking pumpkin muffins first, pie later (after I get a chance to buy lard for the crust). Anyway, since I didn’t have time to write a substantive post, I am throwing up another silly songs post to represent pumpkins.
Happy Saturday! I am cooking cooking cooking (new stove is hear and I have 5 pumpkins!), and also running back and forth to the movie theater, so no time for a real deep post. But at least I can throw up a news post!
This is a very practical post. I assume that now is the time we are all finalizing our plans for Thursday? Well, this can be a place to discuss options!
Sadly, this is the last Friday that will be having entirely SRK TGIF posts. Although, happily, that does mean the return of Prabhas and other southern heroes to our lives. Plus John Abraham, Arjun Rampal, and all the other old favorites. Anyway, for our last post, which is also the 6th day before the birthday, I thought the 6 Flavors of Ayurvedic diet/medicine might be nice. In a mixture of images and quotes.
I hadn’t watched this movie in about 14 years, and by golly it is just as good as I remembered! Better actually, because back then I didn’t realize how unusual it was to have this kind of a plot.
This is a very very silly post. But it’s the end of the week, I am almost done with my exhausting SRK celebrations, it’s time to be silly!
