It’s Saturday, no one really wants to think today, right? So, Fanvid time! I did 15 last year, this time I am adding on another 11.
Karan, Shahrukh, and other people all tweeted the trailer at the same time late last night. Which is interesting on its own. But also, the trailer is kind of good!
Yesterday I did a “serious” post, best films, so today I get to do another “silly” one! 29 songs of Shahrukh.
Aamir tweeted this morning that it was his No. 1 song from the movie, and it is definitely mine! This is the song I have been going on about, the one we hear a snippet of in the trailer and I have been waiting for the full version. Oh, and there’s another song that came out a few days ago and I somehow missed, so I might as well talk about that one too.
Really is not fair that Dussehra landed the day after Judwaa 2!!! So I am going to be lazy and only put up a few songs. But, to make up for it, temporary new blog header image! Pretty cool, right? (this is an updated and reposted post from last year)

He knew my view count was going down with no big releases for the past few weeks and, to help me out, he is posting these videos. Hello blog people! I have nothing to say to you today. Normally Saturday is when I put up reviews of the movie I saw the night before, but my friend Dina was busy this week, so I didn’t see anything. And now I have to run around doing a million things so there isn’t really any time for me to write a full blog post on something else. Well, not yet. Maybe tonight. In the meantime, you can have what is now becoming traditional, the weekend post that just describes my day and maybe shows you a song you haven’t seen in a while.
Well isn’t this nice! A bunch of new trailers for me to pick over. Some with more info than others, so you will have to help me fill in the gaps in the comments.
You know how there is this crazy terrible extreme weather all over the world right now? Well, in my little part of the world, all that is happening is that we have a freakishly hot spell. Like, literally hotter right now than it was in July. Which is really nothing in the grand scheme of things, but still, I’M HOT!!!! And therefore, I am looking up songs to cool me down.

THANK GOODNESS, promotions are starting up again for things. Otherwise, I have no content! Although, just you wait in about 3 weeks when we are drowning in “first looks” and “teaser trailers” for everything for the holiday season, I will be complaining about having too much content and not enough time. But today is not that day!
When we were little little girls, our grandmother brainwashed all 5 of us to believe to the depths of our souls “engineers make the best husbands” (guess what my grandfather, father, and brother-in-law all do?). And so I can’t ignore this holiday!
I just spent 4 hours straight on work phone calls, I am tired, I don’t want to write a think-y post, I just want to be happy and indulgent! If you are in a similar state, I am here for you with sexy videos.
Grandpa turns 96 today! We are celebrating with a small dinner at a nice restaurant with just the 4 of us (Mom, Dad, me, and Grandpa). We had a whole big family thing last year for 95, but this year we get to be more lowkey. However, I do feel like I should do SOMETHING, and so I am getting him this lovely blog post. That he will probably not read. But oh well, I know it’s there.
I may be “bad” and not watch any new films all the way through to September 29th. There’s nothing I’m super excited about, and it was sooooooooo nice to have a real honest to goodness movie night last night with friends over and all! Anyway, to make up for no new review (or podcast), I will tell you how I spent my evening on Friday while not at the movie theater.

Of course, I still had to write the actual post, but I can do that anywhere. Oh, and thank you Dhawans for giving us such fun songs! Twice!
I am VERY EXCITED! Soon, I will be stunningly beautiful(er), and also have the eyesight of Superman. Or at least, I will look slightly different to myself when I look in the mirror every morning for a few weeks until I get used to it. Anyway, seemed as good a reason as any to do a songs post in honor of glasses and glasses wearers.
